David Wachs

David Wachs, CISSP, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. David is currently working as the Director of Information Technology at Waterfall Asset Management LLC, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President of Information Technology at the same company from May 2018 to February 2021.

In addition, David has been involved with Ithaca College since May 2020, serving on the Ithaca College Cybersecurity Advisory Board.

Before their current role, David worked as the IT Director at KLS Diversified Asset Management LP from August 2009 to May 2018. David gained experience as a Systems Engineer at Eze Castle Integration from January 2008 to July 2009.

David's earlier career includes roles as an Implementation Engineer and Staff Augmentation Technician at The Lloyd Group from September 2006 to November 2007 and May 2005 to September 2006, respectively. David also worked as a Desktop Support Consultant at Amnesty International from June 2003 to April 2005.

Before entering the field of technology, David began their career as a Junior Accountant at The Barson Group from August 2002 to May 2003.

David Wachs, CISSP completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems from Lehigh University. David attended Lehigh University from 1998 to 2002. Prior to their university education, David completed their high school at Bridgewater-Raritan High School from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, David obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in July 2017.
