DJ Alexander, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various fields. Currently, they serve as the Senior Director of Operations at Waterford.org where they review operational and performance data, develops departmental processes, and maintains project plans. Previously, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at San Jacinto College, teaching and assessing course material. DJ also founded and served as the Owner/Principal Leadership Coach & Facilitator at BridgeNow Solutions, LLC, providing leadership education and support to various organizations. At Collaborative for Children, they held multiple roles including Director of Community Education & Outreach and Senior Manager of Family Education & Outreach. In these positions, they oversaw department activities, built relationships with stakeholders, and developed internal systems. Other roles throughout their career include Dissertation Content Expert at Grand Canyon University, Multisite Director at YMCA of Greater Houston, Membership Services Specialist at YMCA of Greater Charlotte, and various roles at Bright Horizons, Durham Parks and Recreation, and YMCA of Greater Charlotte.

DJ Alexander, Ed.D. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Family Services & Consumer Sciences - Early Childhood Education from North Carolina Central University in 2006. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Grand Canyon University from 2007 to 2009. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University from 2009 to 2014.
