Deirdre Roberts

Deirdre Roberts has diverse work experience in marketing, public relations, and book publishing. Deirdre is currently working at Waterford Technologies as a Content Marketing Manager, a role they assumed in March 2023. Prior to this, they were a Marketing Specialist at the same company from September 2022 to March 2023. In 2021, Deirdre started their own business called "Deirdre Roberts Book Marketing," where they provided book publicity and creative campaign services to authors and publishers. Deirdre worked as the General Manager and PR & Marketing professional at Mercier Press from 2015 to 2021. From 2009 to 2015, they were a Public Relations & Marketing Consultant at Roberts Communications Ireland. Deirdre also briefly served as the Commercial Manager at The Cork News in 2014.

Deirdre Roberts completed a Higher National Diploma in Project Management at University College Dublin in 2021. Deirdre also holds a Higher National Diploma in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from the Public Relations Institute of Ireland. In addition to their formal education, Deirdre has obtained various certifications, including a Professional Diploma in Project Management from University College Dublin, a Coaching Models of Practice certification from Quality and Qualifications Ireland, and an Editing and Proofreading certification from Learning Cloud. Deirdre also holds a Diploma in Public Relations from the Public Relations Institute of Ireland, an Event Management certification from the European Institute of Communications, and a National Certificate in Business Studies from the Irish Management Institute.
