Laura Stotesbury has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. Laura started their career as a Marketing Intern at Ernst & Young, where they assisted in projects such as graduate recruitment campaigns and organizing events. After that, they worked as a Secondary School Teacher at Wicklow VEC, teaching subjects like Business and Maths. Laura also served as a Resource Teacher at Gorey Central Primary School.

In 2012, Laura joined Microsoft as a Practicum Associate, working on a sponsored practicum project with the Developer Evangelist team. During this time, they conducted primary and secondary research on the mobile app development industry and assisted in running the Get Digital National Cloud Conference 2012.

Laura then pursued a Masters in Marketing at Dublin City University, where they worked on various projects with live clients, including brand development campaigns for Vodafone and sustainability initiatives for Vistakon. Laura also worked as a tutor for the MG101 Introduction to Marketing course, delivering tutorials and providing learner feedback.

After completing their Masters, Laura joined Grand Hotel Malahide as a Research and Marketing Executive, where they implemented effective communication strategies using social media and coordinated advertisement campaigns. Laura then moved on to Taxback International, where they held multiple roles. As a Digital Marketing Executive, they managed online brand and product campaigns, improved website usability, and ensured brand consistency. Laura later became a Marketing Manager, responsible for executing various marketing initiatives and establishing effective working relationships with sales and operations. Finally, they served as a Senior Marketing Manager, leading a dedicated marketing function and driving a global marketing strategy.

Currently, Laura is the Head of Marketing at Waterford Technologies. In this role, they lead the marketing and communications strategy across Ireland, the UK, and the US. Their responsibilities include driving brand awareness, demand generation, revenue growth, customer marketing, and sales support.

Laura Stotesbury obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Second Level Education at Kilkenny College from 1998 to 2004. In 2011-2012, Laura pursued a Master's degree in Marketing at Dublin City University. Additionally, in August 2017, they obtained a certification in Hubspot Inbound from the HubSpot Academy.
