Harry Dennis

CEO - Founder at Waterhaul

Harry Dennis has a diverse work experience in the environmental and marine industry. Harry is the CEO and Founder of Waterhaul, a social enterprise that recycles abandoned nets into functional products. Prior to this, they worked as a Science and Policy Officer at Surfers Against Sewage Limited, where they were involved in raising awareness of ocean conservation and developing citizen science programs. Harry also worked as a Marine GIS Technician and Research Assistant at ABPmer, where they used GIS to support environmental projects. Additionally, they have experience as a Marine Ecologist at eCoast Marine Consulting and Research, and as a Marine Ecology Research Assistant at Aberystwyth University, where they were involved in various research projects and developed skills in research design, ecological surveys, and data analysis.

Harry Dennis completed their Bachelor's Degree in Marine and Freshwater Biology from Aberystwyth University, during the years 2011 to 2014. Later on, they pursued further education and obtained an MRes Applied Marine Science degree from the University of Plymouth between 2016 and 2017. Harry'sfield of study throughout their education was primarily focused on Marine Sciences.
