Tim Chung

Tim Chung is an accomplished data scientist and engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and software development. Currently serving as the Founding Data Scientist & Engineer at Waterlily Planning since August 2023, Tim previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Ad Astra, where valuable contributions were made to machine learning models and statistical analyses focused on higher education. Tim's background includes a role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, where support was provided to graduate students in advanced programming and operating systems. An internship as a Software Developer at DataLocker involved launching product websites and improving technical support tools. Tim began a career at Cerner Corporation as a Senior Associate Consultant, designing software solutions and managing the deployment process. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Computer Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
