Polly Liu

Polly Liu is currently an Undergraduate Research Assistant focusing on Distributed Systems at the University of Waterloo, a position held since September 2024. Concurrently, Polly Liu serves as an Embedded Software Engineer with the Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group since August 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at GoodLabs Studio (May 2024 - August 2024), a Software Developer at Bell (May 2023 - August 2023), and External Affairs for the UW Computer Science Club (May 2023 - August 2023). Earlier positions involved significant leadership roles, including Operations Director and Sponsorship Coordinator at Toronto Youth Network (July 2021 - June 2022), Head Coach (Biking) at Jack of Sports (September 2021 - October 2021), Camp Counselor at Toronto Kidz (August 2021), and Fellow at Shad Canada (July 2021). Polly Liu is pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, having previously attended Bloor Collegiate Institute from September 2018 to June 2022.
