After graduating from the University of Georgia, Greg Poulos worked as a Senior Consultant and Business Analyst for Cap Gemini for a number of different industries and companies, including QDS/WebMD.
Greg was recruited away from Cap Gemini by a start-up company and client Monorail Computer Corporation. As Vice President of Systems Development, Greg was responsible for the development of large scale proprietary systems in the areas of product development, manufacturing, order management, inventory tracking, and product support that allowed Monorail to launch the first sub $1000 PC to the market and eventually process and manufacture all of the “builds to order” PCs for one of IBM’s primary home PC product lines.
After five years in the PC business, Greg went back to the Cardiac Healthcare industry as Executive Vice President of IT for PDSHeart. While at PDSHeart, Greg was responsible for all infrastructure and software development related to the business. He was also directly involved in the development of many key systems like four times transmission speeds and electronic enrollment and reporting systems that allowed for a more than 50% reduction in labor. He also differentiated PDSHeart in the cardiac market place.
After the sale of PDSHeart to CardioNet, Greg was awarded the job as head of IT for CardioNet as the Vice President of IT. While at CardioNet, Greg oversaw all IT operations, including the successful integration of PDSHeart. During Greg’s time at CardioNet, revenues reached $100M, and the company successfully completed its IPO with a market cap of $600M.
Greg is now Watermark Medical’s Chief Information Officer, where he will oversee the design and development of all operational and business management systems in the sleep apnea services area.
