Rodrigo Carvalho

Rodrigo Carvalho is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in investment, advisory, and creative industries. Since January 2016, Rodrigo has served as an Investor at WTF Ventures, while also holding the position of Co-Founder, Screenwriter, and Director at Watermelon since October 2009. As a Mentor at Startup Lisboa since October 2017, Rodrigo contributes expertise to emerging entrepreneurs. Previously, Rodrigo was the Managing Partner and Co-Founder at Nutri Ventures Corporation SA from September 2010 to September 2019, and served as Team Coordinator at Associação EPIS for a year. Early in career, roles included Manager at Jason Associates and Sub-Director of The Go To Market Department at World Directories, as well as a focus on Market Strategy & Planning at Procter & Gamble. Rodrigo holds a degree in Person Centred Counselling from IACP Milano (2022-2023), an MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Cranfield University and Instituto Superior Técnico (1992-1998), and a Post Graduate qualification in Humanitarian Aid and Cooperation in Crisis Situations from Universidade Moderna de Lisboa (2005-2006).
