Jake Sturgess

Jake Sturgess has extensive experience in the scientific and analytical fields, currently serving as Systems Account Manager at Waters Corporation since August 2015. Sturgess has also held positions including Field Service Team Leader and Field Service Engineer at the same company. Prior to that, Jake worked as an Analytical Scientist at Alere Toxicology Plc from October 2013 to August 2015, focusing on solid phase extraction, data processing, validation studies, and method development using GC/MS and LC/MS. Jake's career began at Merck Millipore from January 2012 to October 2013 as a Scientist, where responsibilities included analyzing samples, conducting biomarker analysis, and managing data in compliance with GCP, GMP, and GLP regulations. Academically, Sturgess holds a Master of Science in Toxicology and a Bachelor of Science in Forensic and Crime Scene Science, both from Bournemouth University.
