Liviu Paltanea

Liviu Paltanea is an experienced software engineer specializing in automation and DevOps, currently serving as a Principal Software DevOps Engineer and Automation Technical Lead at Waters Corporation since July 2015. Liviu has developed automation frameworks using Python and .NET, unified test frameworks, and implemented automated test scenarios with pytest-bdd and SpecFlow. Previous roles include Senior Automation Engineer and Automation Engineer, where Liviu developed internal tools and maintained CI build processes. Before joining Waters Corporation, Liviu worked at Ipsos Interactive Services, focusing on creating web-based questionnaires and providing technical support. Liviu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Automatics and Applied Informatics from Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Colegiul National Unirea.
