Ben Holvast

Ben Holvast is a legal professional with extensive experience in various advisory roles within the water management sector. Currently serving as a Juridisch adviseur at Waterschap Amstel, Gooi en Vecht since April 2023, Ben also contributes as a member of the bezwaarschriftencommissie for both Waterschap Rivierenland and Waterschap Hollandse Delta since February 2019. Previously, Ben held a similar advisory position at Waterschap Scheldestromen from December 2010 to April 2023 and worked as a legal advisor for Waterschap Zeeuwse Eilanden from January 1996 to December 2010. Additional experience includes volunteer work with Film by the Sea from 2009 to 2013. Ben holds a master's degree in Rechtsgeleerdheid from Tilburg University and a degree in Juridische bestuurswetenschappen from the University of Groningen.
