Erik Koppenaal

Erik Koppenaal is a seasoned consultant and owner of Koppenaal Milieuadvies and Koppenaal QHSE Advice, with a career spanning from September 1994 to the present. Erik specializes in advising both profit and non-profit organizations on the implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of management systems concerning quality, environmental safety, and the CO2 performance ladder. Additionally, Erik serves as a freelance lead auditor and team leader for ISO standards at Kiwa since 2012, and has been a QHSE advisor and project leader at Waterschap Vallei en Veluwe since 1997. His previous roles include technical expert at Kiwa International Cert GmbH, external occupational health and safety advisor for Koninklijke de Vries Scheepsbouw, and freelance lead auditor for DNV GL. Erik holds a master's degree in Biology from the Free University Amsterdam and a degree in Occupational Health & Safety from the Post Hoger Onderwijs Veiligheidskunde.
