Johan Feunekes

Johan Feunekes is an experienced legal professional with a diverse background in public and private law, focusing on water management and administrative law. Currently serving as Projectjurist for the Waterschap Vallei en Veluwe since July 2020, Johan provides legal support for the improvement of primary water defenses and related area development projects. Additionally, Johan is the founder and owner of Feunekes Juridisch Advies, Rechtsbijstand & Mediation, offering independent legal advice and mediation services. Prior roles include a strategic advisory position in Juridisch Bestuurlijke Zaken at Waterschap Noorderzijlvest, where Johan implemented laws concerning water management, advised on environmental regulations, and supported legal proceedings. Johan holds a master's degree in law with a specialization in Administrative Law from the University of Groningen.
