Azad Hajiyev

Azad Hajiyev is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in various roles within the technology and cybersecurity sectors. Currently serving as Principal Information Security Consultant at Waterstons since November 2021, Azad previously held the position of Head of Information Security at Queen Mary University of London from January 2022 to November 2023. Prior to this, Azad spent over two decades at BP, where responsibilities included providing end-to-end cyber assurance for the Global Lubricants business and managing risk across multiple divisions. Azad's diverse expertise encompasses various positions, including Digital Security and Risk Officer, Risk Officer, SAP Technical and Test Lead, European Programme Manager, and IT Project Manager, demonstrating a robust background in both technical and managerial capacities within IT and information security.
