Rohan McCarthy-Gill

Rohan McCarthy-Gill is an experienced professional in global mobility and international programs, currently serving as the Head of Global Mobility at the University of Sussex since April 2019. In this role, Rohan leads initiatives to promote global student mobility, aligning programs with the University of Sussex Strategic Framework 2025. Previously, as the Global Mobility and Partnerships Manager, Rohan managed incoming exchange and study abroad teams while overseeing international partnership development. Rohan holds additional roles such as Chair and Treasurer at Butex British Student Mobility, Community Governor at Cherry Tree Academy, and Master’s Thesis Commissioner at Tampere University of Applied Sciences. Rohan's extensive experience includes leadership positions at Western Sydney University and the Australian National University, where responsibilities included managing international mobility programs and enhancing student recruitment strategies. Rohan’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Asian Studies and a Bachelor of Communications, demonstrating a strong foundation in cultural studies and communication.
