Kristen Covington

Kristen Covington has a diverse background in property management and application support. Kristen has over 10 years of experience in managing software applications for real estate companies.

From 2014 to present, they have been working at Waterton, where they currently hold the position of Vice President, Application Support and Property Technology. In this role, they oversee the Application Support Department and leads a team of four employees. Their responsibilities include supporting software applications used by the Residential, Senior Housing, and Hospitality teams, as well as assisting in new software implementation and upgrades.

Before joining Waterton, Kristen worked at Landmark Apartment Trust/Landmark Residential as Director of Property Management Software from 2012 to 2014. In this role, they managed and supported various property management systems used by the company across different departments.

Prior to that, they worked as a Regional Manager at Landmark Residential, overseeing over 1600 units and working with site team members to achieve company goals. Kristen also ensured the highest quality of living for residents.

Kristen's earlier experience includes positions as a Property Manager at Element National Management from 2007 to 2009 and at Strong Management Inc from 2002 to 2007. Kristen started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Suncoast RV from 2001 to 2002.

Kristen Covington obtained their High School Diploma in the field of Medical from Larkin High School, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Later, they pursued further education and obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Triton College, studying there from 2015 to 2021. In addition, they also have a certification as a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor from NAA, which they obtained in October 2012.
