Nikki Salas has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Nikki started their career as a Registered Nurse at Watertown Regional Medical Center in March 2002, where they served for ten years. During their time there, they held various roles such as Clinical Resource Lead of Emergency Services and Director of Emergency Services. In July 2015, they were promoted to the position of Director of Acute Care Services, where they are currently employed.
In addition to their experience at Watertown Regional Medical Center, Nikki also worked as a Travel RN in the Emergency Department at Cross Country TravCorps from April 2004 to April 2006.
Nikki Salas has a comprehensive education history in the field of nursing. Nikki earned their Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Madison Area Technical College, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of Phoenix between 2012 and 2014. More recently, Nikki completed their Master of Science - MS in Registered Nursing, specializing in Nursing Administration, Nursing Research, and Clinical Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where they studied from 2019 to 2021.
