Fionn Murphy

Fionn Murphy is an experienced ecologist currently serving at Waterways Ireland since January 2023. Prior roles include Senior Ecologist at Woodrow Sustainable Solutions and Ecologist at INIS Environmental Consultants Ltd., where responsibilities involved conducting Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, bird and bat surveys, and post-construction monitoring. Prior experience encompasses project specialization in improving surface water quality at Miljøpunkt Nørrebro, data collection and experimental design at the University of Hohenheim, and instructional roles at the University of Copenhagen and National University of Ireland, Galway. Fionn holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Science and another in Environmental Science, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science.
