David Bowen

David Bowen is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Finance Director for the Wates Residential Development Group since November 2012, overseeing a significant £250m operation focused on land investment and residential development. In previous roles within the Wates Group, including Finance Director for Wates Developments and Group Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, David has successfully driven strategic initiatives, improved financial processes, and provided critical support to the Executive Committee. Before joining Wates, David was a Director at KPMG, specializing in Audit for the Building & Construction, House-Builders, and Social Housing sectors. David holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics with Oceanography from the University of Southampton and has been a Trustee at The Fountain Centre since 2009.
