Mario Cruz has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Mario served as the Director at Watsco Ventures, where they supported entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs by providing opportunities, capital, mentoring, and networks. Mario also worked as a Member of the Board of Directors at Moonlighter FabLab, a non-profit organization dedicated to growing the Maker Movement. Additionally, they served as an Advisor at Addigy, a company focused on providing IT management solutions. Mario is the Founder of Barbaro Mojo, a venture they started in 2019. Mario was also the Executive Producer at Miami Maker Faire. Furthermore, Mario has a background in music, as they are currently the drummer in the band Switch and has played in various other bands. Mario's experience also extends to the role of Head of Product Development at Viggle Inc., where they were responsible for a mobile and web-based entertainment marketing platform.
Mario Cruz attended Miami Dade College from 1989 to 1993, where they majored in Music. From 2007 to 2011, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business at Barry University.
