Yigal Akselman is a Senior Software Engineer at Watsco Ventures since September 2016, with a background in developing frontend eCommerce web applications using Java and Scala, leveraging Play framework and Akka technologies for scalable and responsive systems. Prior experience includes serving as a Software Developer at Choose Digital from February 2012 to September 2016 and as a Research Assistant at The Telecommunications and Information Technology Institute, where Yigal contributed to the development of RF transceiver boards and RTOS modules. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Florida International University and an Associate in Arts in Engineering from Broward College.
