Terrence O'Keefe has a diverse work history in the agribusiness industry, with a focus on poultry and food safety. Terrence began their career at Rocco Turkeys in 1986, where they held various positions for over a decade. In 1997, they transitioned to Wampler Foods as a Plant Manager before joining WATT as an Editor in 2000. At WATT, they worked on multiple publications and played a key role in integrating three titles into one profitable publication. In 2009, Terrence founded Poultry Market Analytics, where they served as Principal until 2012. Terrence then returned to WATT Global Media in 2013, taking on roles such as Food Safety/Processing Editor and Content Director Agribusiness, responsible for managing editors and producing content.

Terrence O'Keefe completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biology at William & Mary from 1980 to 1983. Terrence then pursued a Master's Degree in Poultry Science at Penn State University from 1984 to 1986. After that, they furthered their education at James Madison University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree between 1986 and 1989.
