Tarun Kumar

Tarun Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tarun started their career as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Poornima Institute Of Engineering & Technology in 2012, where they developed curricula, learning materials, and assessments for first-year students. Tarun then worked as an Executive - Materials at Otsuka Chemical (India) Private Limited from 2013 to 2014, managing all aspects of materials flow and supplier relationships. In 2014, they returned to the education sector as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Pratap University, where they focused on delivering high-quality learning tools and monitoring student progress. In 2016, Tarun transitioned into the role of Program Manager at Adhyatm Sadhna Kendra, New Delhi, before moving on to become a Project Manager at SOLARWORLD ENERGY SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED in 2017. Tarun was responsible for overseeing projects and ensuring their successful completion. Most recently, Tarun has taken on the position of Design Manager at Wattmonk Technologies as of 2022.

Tarun Kumar completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from Poornima College of Engineering from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Guru Harkrishan Public School in Raisinghnagar from 2006 to 2007, where they completed their Senior Secondary education with a focus on Science (Mathematics). Tarun began their formal education at R. M. Memorial Public Senior Secondary School in Gajsinghpur from 2004 to 2005, where they completed their Secondary education.

In terms of certifications, Tarun obtained a Solar photovoltaic Off-grid and On-grid: Design & Installation certification in May 2017 from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.
