Willem van der Heijden

Willem van der Heijden is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the solar and construction industries. As Co-Founder of WattsInStore since September 2019, Willem has been addressing congestion issues in the solar market to facilitate the energy transition. Previously, as Managing Partner at Solartester BV, Willem led quality testing of PV modules. Willem also owned Group Sports Travel & Events from 2008 to 2020, organizing sports tours across the Netherlands and Belgium. At Tarkett, from 2014 to 2019, Willem held various roles including Global Key Account Manager, contributing to sustainable flooring solutions in the B2B sector. Earlier experience includes serving as Project & Sales Manager at KiesZon, engaging in pioneering solar projects, and as a Sales Representative at Camping Sport De Wit, specializing in residential swimming pools. Willem holds a Master’s degree in Marketing Management from Tilburg University and a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Economics from HAN University of Applied Sciences.
