Mark Sutton

Mark Sutton has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Mark is currently the Head Of Business Development ANZ at Wattyl - A part of Hempel since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a National Market Development Manager at Everhard Industries from December 2020 to May 2022.

Mark also has experience as a Senior Project Manager at ASG Group from August 2019 to November 2020, where they utilized Agile methodology for project and change management. Mark worked on projects for clients like Suncorp and Thiess.

In 2020, Mark served as the Project Director for Recycling at Paintback Ltd from April to October. Before that, they were a Project Manager/Consultant at MCS Consulting - Pharmacy/Labour Hire from August 2018 to July 2019, focusing on strategic change management and executive coaching.

Mark has held executive positions in various companies, such as CEO of The Paint Place Group of Stores from July 2008 to August 2018, and Project Delivery Manager at MCS Business Balance from January to June 2008. Mark also worked as a Guardian Pharmacy State Manager at Sigma Pharmaceuticals from September 2005 to January 2008.

Earlier in their career, Mark held leadership roles, including QLD Team Leader at Frontline Retail Recruitment from November 2004 to September 2005, and National Business Development Manager at National Retail Association from May 2002 to November 2004.

Mark Sutton has a diverse education history. Mark obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business from Griffith University in 1997. In 2004, they pursued a Master's degree in Project Management from the University of Southern Queensland, completing it in 2007. In 2009, Mark earned a Company Directors Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Later, they returned to the University of Southern Queensland and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Project Management from 2011 to 2016.

Additionally, Mark has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2014, they received a Forklift License from the Queensland Government. In 2019, they acquired various certifications, including Agile Foundations, Agile Product Owner Role: Foundations, Blending Project Management Methods, and Design Thinking: Understanding the Process, all from LinkedIn. In 2020, they obtained the Implementing Lean: A Case Study and Lean Foundations certifications from LinkedIn, as well as the Certificate III in Logistics from One Stop Training.
