David A. Lowenberg

David Lowenberg’s relationship with WCP began when he was a Board Member of CarePoint Partners in Waud Capital Partners II. In 2010, WCP and Mr. Lowenberg partnered in an executive-led strategy that culminated in WCP’s investment in Cordant Health Solutions. Prior to joining WCP, Mr. Lowenberg was Chief Operating Officer of Express Scripts and President and Chief Executive Officer of its Curascript subsidiary. During his tenure at Express Scripts, the company’s revenues grew from $150 million to nearly $20 billion. Earlier in his career, he worked as an executive with both local and state governments in Arizona, including serving as the Executive Director of the Arizona Welfare Department where he was appointed by the Governor of Arizona.

Mr. Lowenberg is currently the Chairman of the Board of Cordant Health Solutions, Health and Safety Institute, Pharmacy Partners and Lifelong Learner and on the Board of The GI Alliance.

Mr. Lowenberg holds a Master’s degree in Public Management from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from the University of Arizona.
