Reeve Waud

Managing Partner at Waud Capital

Reeve founded Waud Capital in 1993 and has served as the firm's Managing Partner since then. Over his private equity career of more than 30 years, he has acquired more than 290 companies in a variety of industries with a special focus on healthcare services and software and technology services.

Prior to establishing WCP, Reeve was an investment professional at Golder, Thoma, Cressey, Rauner, Inc. (“GTCR”), a private equity investment group based in Chicago. At GTCR he had investment responsibility for a wide range of portfolio companies that were built through more than one hundred acquisitions. Before joining GTCR, Reeve was in the Corporate Finance Group of Salomon Brothers Inc and was a founding member of its Venture Capital Group.

Reeve holds a BA in Economics from Middlebury College and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a member of the Northwestern Memorial Healthcare Finance Committee, a Trustee of the Art Institute of Chicago, and Chairman of Acadia Healthcare.

In his personal time, Reeve loves being with with his family, sailing, skiing, walking his dogs, enjoying meals with friends, and taking adventurous vacations.
