Heather Anderson has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for Des Moines Public Schools since September 2015 and as a 2nd-grade teacher at Waukee Community Schools since August 2014. Anderson has a strong commitment to health and wellness and advocates for STEM education. Prior teaching experience includes a position as Lead Teacher at Montessori Children's House from August 2003 to July 2005.
