Kathleen Sender is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and work-based learning. Currently serving as the Work-Based Learning Manager for Waukee Community School District since June 2023, Kathleen previously held the position of Aspiring Professional Experience (APEX) Instructor from January 2018 to June 2023. Kathleen's educational background includes a Master of Science in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Northwest Missouri State University and a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Sports Management from William Jewell College. Additional teaching experience includes roles as a Physical Education Teacher at Waukee Community School District and a Health and Physical Education Teacher at Kearney Public Schools, complemented by work with various educational organizations and youth programs.
