Kathy Slade

Kathy Slade has a wealth of experience in the education field, starting from their time as a Support Services Teacher & Team Leader at LEARN Regional Multicultural Magnet School to their current roles as K/1 Special Education Teacher and Elementary Special Education teacher at Waukee Community Schools. Kathy has also worked as an Education Consultant/Advocate at KAMS Consulting, LLC, a Surrogate Parent at CT State Department of Education, a Program Coordinator and Team Leader at Collaborative for Colchester’s Children, and a Parent Educator/Consultant at Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center. Throughout their career, Kathy has focused on advocating for children with disabilities and providing support to parents in navigating the special education system.
