Riley Newman

Riley Newman is a general partner at Wave Capital. Prior to that, they were the head of data science at Airbnb.com from May 2010 to August 2016. Riley was one of Airbnb's first 10 employees. Newman has also worked as a senior research associate at Beacon Economics and as an intern at the United Nations. Riley has also served in the U.S. Coast Guard as a BM2.

Riley Newman completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Studies (Honors) at the University of Washington before going on to study for an MPhil in Applied Economics at the University of Cambridge. Riley also attended St. Ignatius College Prep.
