Ilana Weinstein

Ilana Weinstein is an accomplished environmental education professional currently serving as Youth Programs Manager at Wave Hill since May 2024, where responsibilities include overseeing high school forest restoration projects and ecology research. Previous roles include Program Manager at City Parks Foundation, and Urban Park Ranger at the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, where Ilana developed nature center programming and led various educational activities. Notable early experience includes positions as a Nature Center Adventure Guide, Head EcoRep at the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry, and a Sustainability Intern at Greenburgh Nature Center. Ilana holds a Master of Arts in Environmental Conservation Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
