Olivia Kalin is an experienced educator specializing in museum education and nature-based learning. Currently serving as an Assistant Teacher at South Mountain Nature School, Olivia supports preschool students in an outdoor classroom setting. Concurrently, Olivia lectures at The City College of New York, focusing on museum education's philosophical foundations and current issues. Past roles include Nature Educator and School Programs Coordinator at Wave Hill, Gallery and Studio Educator at the Museum of Arts and Design, and Lead Gallery Educator at Bard Graduate Center, where Olivia developed inquiry-based educational experiences for diverse audiences. Olivia's earlier experience includes significant leadership positions with the New York City Museum Educators Roundtable and education roles at Neuberger Museum of Art and The Museum of Modern Art. Olivia holds an M.A. in Art History and Art Museum Education from The City College of New York and a BA in Art History from Drew University.
