Christian Henry

Christian Henry is the current Chairman at WAVE Life Sciences. Prior to their current position, they have served as Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer, and Chief Financial Officer at various companies. Christian started their career as a corporate controller at Nektar Therapeutics in 1996 and then held similar positions at Affymetrix and Tickets.com before joining Illumina in 2005. In their role at Illumina, they were responsible for global product development, informatics, operations, and quality. Christian left Illumina in 2017 to join Ginkgo Bioworks as CEO.

Christian Henry attended UC Irvine for their MBA in Finance and UC San Diego for their BA in Biochemistry/Cell Biology.
