Marina Freytsis, PhD has extensive work experience in various roles within the fields of alliance management, business development, marketing, communications, and research. Marina began their career as a Summer intern at Biogen Idec in 2007 and later worked as a Research Assistant at Jewish General Hospital. Marina continued their research career as a Graduate Student Researcher at Tufts University, focusing on the CDK6/RB pathway in calcification of aortic valves. Marina also gained experience in technology transfer as an Intern at Tufts Technology Transfer. Marina subsequently transitioned into corporate alliance and business development roles at Boston Children's Hospital before taking on leadership positions at Wave Life Sciences in alliance and program management.
Marina Freytsis, PhD, earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Molecular Biology from McGill University in 2010. Marina went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genetics at Tufts University in 2016.
