Shannon Cooney

Shannon Cooney currently serves as a Talent & Culture Coordinator at Wave Life Sciences, beginning in November 2023. Prior to this role, Shannon was a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from September 2022 to November 2023, focusing on projects related to poverty and substance abuse. Previous experience includes a Human Resources Intern position at Wave Life Sciences, where responsibilities involved digitizing and auditing employee files, as well as a Marketing Ambassador role at GIST, which provided hands-on sales experience and community engagement efforts. Additional roles include Childcare Provider and Front Desk Receptionist at Salon Tuan, along with work as a 1st Grade Teacher's Assistant at Acton-Boxborough Community Education. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
