Sridhar Vaddeboina

Dr. Vaddeboina joined Wave Life Sciences in 2021 to lead Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC). In his role, he oversees CMC operations including Process Technology, Manufacturing and Quality Control of the Manufacturing of Oligos drug substance at Wave’s manufacturing facility and drug product with CMO partners.

Dr. Vaddeboina is an accomplished leader with over 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, making significant contributions to organizational growth and building high-performance global teams (US, UK, and India) with values of integrity and scientific rigor. His experience in pharmaceutical CMC spans from early clinical development through commercial drug substance and drug product manufacturing. Prior to joining Wave, he served as Vice President (Analytical, QC and TIIM) at Avecia, where he was a member of the leadership team and oversaw a multi-layer team of 180 scientists focused on oligonucleotide development projects. Dr. Vaddeboina previously held roles of increasing responsibility at Albany Molecular Research Inc. (AMRI, now Curia), concluding with his role as Senior Director, Quality, Analytical and Microbiology.
