Aidong Xu

Aidong Xu is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in semiconductor technologies and venture capital investment. Currently serving as the Head of Semiconductor Capability at Cambridge Consultants, Aidong Xu collaborates with global teams to deliver innovative semiconductor solutions to clients. Prior work includes leading technology venturing at Johnson Matthey, where Aidong Xu focused on EV battery technology and strategic partnerships, and serving as Investment Director at IP Group plc, focusing on early-stage technology start-ups. Additional roles have encompassed senior positions at Infineon AG, Thor Power Co, and GE Energy, showcasing a strong background in engineering management, business development, and R&D. Aidong Xu holds a Ph.D. in Power Electronics from Loughborough University and a Bachelor's Degree in Automation from Shanghai Donghua University.
