Matt Garrett has over 10 years of experience in the media production industry. In 2007, they began their career as a Videographer Intern at Street Ads, where they filmed and edited a promotional sizzle reel for the company. In 2008, they worked as a Production Engineer at Fordela Corporation/Black Pants Inc., where they were a camera operator on multi-camera productions such as live sports and corporate events, and edited multi-camera shoots via Final Cut Pro. In 2010, they became a Freelance Digital Media Production Specialist at House Money Studios, where they produced, shot, designed and edited content with clients and other media professionals. That same year, they also began working as a Production Technician/Video Editor at Cision, where they provided media and public relations management for high profile clients. In 2011, they became a Lead Video Editor/Video Producer at Bleacher Report (Turner Sports), where they produced and edited daily sports video coverage. In 2015, they began working as a Contributor - WWE Video/Digital Content Producer at Forbes, and as a Freelance Video Editor at Discovery Digital Networks. In 2018, they became Director, Post Production and Lead Video Editor at Wave Sports + Entertainment.
Matt Garrett attended San Francisco State University from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting and Electronic Communication Arts.
