Joe Fenstermaker

Joe Fenstermaker, is a documentary film editor with twelve years of experience in the film industry creating films for Netflix, HBO, Apple TV+, PBS, and CNN. After graduating from Hampshire College, Joe began his career in New York City working as an assistant editor on numerous award winning feature length documentary films and TV series. He has helped send four films to The Sundance Film Festival including two in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. As an editor in Los Angeles, Joe premiered Radical Love at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival and won a regional Emmy for Finding Home: A Foster Youth Story. Additionally, Joe directs and edits his own documentary films, which have screened in New York City at Anthology Film Archives and The Maysles Institute.
