Haleigh Garcia

Haleigh Garcia is a Senior Marketing Associate at Wavely and was previously the Marketing Communications Manager at Lafayette Downtown Development Authority from July 2021 to October 2021. Haleigh is responsible for telling Downtown's story and delivering a consistent and coherent narrative that is in line with a positive downtown image and reputation. Haleigh is also responsible for coordinating Downtown Lafayette's online presence, designing and producing marketing collateral, managing social media strategy, maintaining relationships with local media contacts, creating and monitoring key indicators for event attendance and member engagement, preparing marketing reports, and managing all contact inquiries. Additionally, Haleigh is responsible for promoting members activities, milestones, and promotions through all communication channels, acting as a liaison between the organization and both current and prospective members, maintaining the integrity of CRM database of DLU members and downtown businesses and property owners, tracking member participation and recommending adjustments to overall strategic approach for membership engagement, utilizing data created from each event and email marketing campaign to assist DLU director with creating prospect pipeline for membership, and managing member website content. Haleigh also assists with sponsor and grant applications and coordinates with DLU board of directors to manage new initiatives and/or community-focused projects.

Haleigh Garcia has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Louisiana State University. Haleigh also has certification from Branch University in Branch Analytics, Branch Fundamentals for Mobile Growth, Branch for Email, and Branch for Mobile Ads. Haleigh has certification from Mixpanel in Product Analytics Certification.
