Simon Laing

Simon Laing is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Waverton Investment Management since December 2021. Prior experience includes leadership roles as Head of US Equities at both Invesco from January 2012 to February 2020 and Newton Investment Management from October 1997 to December 2011, where Simon was appointed Lead Manager of US Equities in 2002 and participated as Chair of the Equity Strategy Group. Simon Laing holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the University of Oxford, earned between 1993 and 1997, and completed studies at Merchiston Castle School from 1988 to 1993.
