David Buckingham

David Buckingham has extensive experience in the corporate world, having held various roles since 1990. David began their career at PwC (ex Coopers & Lybrand) as an Associate to Manager in 1990. In 1997, they moved to Virgin Media as the Finance Director of the Business Division. From 2002 to 2008, they worked at Telewest as the Group Treasurer and Director of Financial Planning. During this time, they also served as CEO and Chief Financial Officer at iiNet from 2008 to 2016. In 2019, they joined Nuheara as a Non Executive Director and OpenLearning Limited (ASX:OLL) as a Non Executive Director. In 2020, they became the Non Executive Chair of Pentanet (ASX:5GG). David currently serves as a Non Executive Director for WAY2VAT (ASX: W2V) and Hiremii.

David Buckingham received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Engineering Science from Loughborough University between 1985 and 1989. David then went on to pursue Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) at the ICAEW between 1990 and 1993. David is currently enrolled in the Australian Institute of Company Directors, where they are pursuing a GAICD.
