Florence Mugo

Florence Mugo is the current Head Risk & Compliance Officer & Partnerships in Africa at Wayapay. Florence has a long and successful history in the financial sector, starting their career at Barclays Bank Kikuyu Branch in 2008 as a Branch Compliance Officer. After four years in that role, they were promoted to Head of Section at Barclays Bank Westgate Nairobi, where they worked for four and a half years. In October 2017, Florence left Barclays to join Pan Africa Focus as an HR specialist, finance and accounting expert with East Africa Region exposure. Florence remained in that role for just one month before joining Wayapay as their Head Risk & Compliance Officer & Partnerships in Africa.
