Renata Penido is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in real estate law and contract management. Currently serving as a Legal Specialist at WayCarbon since July 2023, Renata's responsibilities include drafting contracts, conducting internal due diligence, risk analysis, and providing strategic legal advice. Previously, Renata held the position of Senior Lawyer at Stocche Forbes Advogados, overseeing the real estate team in Belo Horizonte and handling due diligence matters. Renata's career also includes significant roles at Voltalia, focusing on land documentation analysis and regulatory compliance for renewable energy projects, as well as coordinating land regularization initiatives at Mirante Topografia e Laser Scan. Renata's educational background includes a Master's in Sustainability from UFOP and a postgraduate degree in Real Estate Law from Universidade de Santa Cruz do Sul, with ongoing studies in Energy Law at PUC Minas.
