Rajaie Batniji

Co-Founder & CEO at Waymark

Rajaie Batniji is the Co-Founder and CEO of Waymark, a public benefit corporation providing community-based, tech-enabled healthcare services for Medicaid beneficiaries, in partnership with primary care providers and health plans. Prior to Waymark, Rajaie was a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine from August 2014 to May 2019. Rajaie was also a Research Scholar at the Freeman Spogli Institute at Stanford University from June 2010 to December 2013.

Rajaie Batniji attended Stanford University for both their Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts, studying history in both cases. Rajaie then attended the University of California, San Francisco for their Doctor of Medicine. Finally, they completed their D.Phil. at the University of Oxford in the field of international relations.
