Aman Ved Kalia

Aman Ved Kalia, PhD, is a seasoned Systems Engineer specializing in Autonomy Software Verification and Validation at Waymo since July 2020, focusing on developing scalable testing infrastructure for autonomous vehicle onboard software. Previously, Aman held roles such as Engineering Manager for the UW EcoCAR team, where responsibilities included technical guidance on system integration, and was a Graduate Research Assistant whose doctoral dissertation contributed to hybrid electric vehicle energy management control. A diverse background includes internships at Tesla and Daimler Trucks North America, as well as leadership positions in various engineering teams at the University of Washington, complementing extensive educational credentials culminating in a PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
