Linda Zhang

Linda Zhang is a Senior Hardware Engineer at Waymo since June 2019, focusing on advanced engineering solutions. Previous research experience includes a role as a PhD Candidate at Stanford University from September 2013 to June 2019, specializing in solid-state quantum emitters for quantum applications. As a Research Intern at AT&T Palo Alto Foundry in summer 2018, Zhang applied quantum technology to combinatorial optimization problems while collaborating with Stanford partners. Early academic contributions include work at Princeton University as a Research Assistant on quantum cascade lasers and superconductor junctions, along with a microwave reflectivity measurement project.
