Jim Buck

Jim Buck serves as the Union President of the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES Educators Association since July 2017, while also working as an Instructor for Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES since August 1995. In this role, Jim Buck teaches high school seniors and juniors various aspects of electrical trades, including renewable energy, Cat-5 wiring, and Fiber Optics, and holds certifications as an OSHA 10/30 Instructor. Prior to this, Jim Buck was an Electrical Trades Instructor at Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES since May 1995, Chief Electrical Inspector at Commonwealth Inspection Services from 1988 to 2000, and a Master Machinist at ITT Goulds Pumps from 1979 to 1988. Jim Buck earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Vocational Education from the State University of New York at Oswego.
